I can vouch for the freezer pro myself...it cools great, not too big, and super cheap! I have it running at 100% and it can't be heard over my case fans, and they are toned down to be very quiet.
Would not suggest it for a serious oc though. I OC'd my [email protected] to 3.3ish with it, and it will idle at 44 degrees (+ or - 2), load goes up o 56. Still not bad thuogh. Even have a triple fan GPU cooler from them, and its quieter than my case fans as well. Love their products!

if your willing to pay for the lapping get a TRUE from Crazypc.com this will give you the best performance right now.
If your looking for something a little cheaper you will never go wrong with an HDT(Heatpipe direct touch). For example one of the best aircoolers right now is the Xigmatek S-1283. The Xigmatek is any amazing cooler, i will vouch for it 100%. If you need more proof check out Overclock.net. I OC'ed my E8500 from 3.16ghz to 3.816ghz with it. 32c idle and not higher than 50c on max load. Edited by PatrickB - 03 Feb 2009 at 4:55pm |

Personally I see no need for fan controllers. But if you really want one id advise against this one since it only controls 3 fans. Id find something that can control ALL of your fans. |
