I have stage 3 cooling + frostbite liquid cooling on the CPU. I took a screenshot of the temps readings while my PC was idling.
Guys, please advise, are these normal?

Any overclocks? Its well within average, but slightly above average, but only by a few degrees. Here is a slightly out of date picture of my temps with stage 3 air cooling. Keep in mind its slightly higher then that today due to a higher OC and a second GTX 280 in there now =P.
I cant post pictures on this site anymore..i dunno why..so ill just have to give the link i guess.

Yes, I have an OC on the CPU at 3.2GHz. My GPU is non-OCed and runs at stock speeds.
Also, why is the CPU value shown as 40C, but each core is shown as well above that value? Shouldn't these values more or less match?
Also, what does AUX mean?
Thanks.

Aux can be anything: ambient, mobo, ... It depends on your manufacturer.
The CPU temp is the external temp measured by the mobo sensor and the Core temp is the internal temp measured by the CPU. |

Anything below 70 degrees celsius is fine. Anything above that, you should start worrying. To my knowledge, mine runs at about 60-65 at full load. Edited by tyler_14_420 - 23 Oct 2008 at 11:43am |
