i am currently in stage 1 due to parts back order. i paired the ryzen 7 5800 with the radeon 6800 xt for my new system: i have been seeing more and more articles and videos claiming that the ryzen 7 5800 runs hot and could cause system problems down the road. can anyone give me advice on either changing my set up or keeping as is? i"m not sure if what i am reading should affect my purchase. thanks ps i also ordered stage 2 cooling and msi pro carbon motherboard.

I don't know who said that, but that goes for every processor. You have a solid setup choice, I wouldn't worry about it.
