Im kindda worried right now.
i have this reading of my Hardware's temperature. and as you can see in the image below that there are temperatures less than 30 or maybe less than 25degrees. is it safe to have this low temperatures displayed on my system? . Edited by 13cizma - 06 Nov 2008 at 3:37pm |

Those are some very funky readings. I have never seen 1 degree on CPU case temp. Nothing wrong with low temperatures, but something doesn't look right.
Are you running liquid cooling? Also what is the room temperature.
It is also odd that your CPU core temperatures are the same min/max. It looks like you may have stuck temp sensors as they should move up and down at least a few degrees.
I would try loading up Prime95 and seeing how your temps are under heavy load. You can download it here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Prime95_d4363.html. Make sure you get the correct version to match your OS (32 or 64 bit)

If that is your room temp (wow thats cold) your readings are nothing to worry about and are normal. Temperatures in that range will actually be good for your system.
The only thing I am concerned about is that the CPU Core temperatures don't seem to be moving. If they spike up while running Prime95 torture test and stay under 70C or so, you are golden.

Those are some nice temperatures. I am glad to see the coretemps moving.
Now you need to turn up to some seriously higher voltage and OC the CPU. You have tons of headroom to work with

So the Silent Stage 2 Cooling is the CPU temperature
and how about the Fans in the Casing is it Registered there? I'm using the Antec 900 right now. |

oh you are not overclocked, and you got the 650w PSU, all that equals to less heat.
stage 2 cooling is just your heatsink and its fan upgraded, your temps are really based on the fans that your case came with, they are mainly responsible for keeping temps down. but your system is not generating much heat and its not OCed, so those temps are normal for your case. |

positive boss, 650 and no overclock.
That's another reason why i got the 650. less W less heat. so the CPUFANINO, thats the fan heatsink? it's just normal or its supposed to be way normal. |

I told you, me and you can push those OCs higher but from DS they come with no higher then 3.4, minus rice's system.
if you had a q9650 right now at 3.6 your temps would be lower and you would have more room to push higher, just FYI, but that money vs preference tho. but so far you are doing great 3.6 is very good IMO keep us up to date boss make sure you are monitoring those temps under load. Yep been doing prime 95 test while watching temps. didnt even have to raise voltage to acheive 3.6. I am trying not to let my temp reach or go over 70C with full load. Vantage scores for 3.6 E40758 Gpu 41472 Cpu 38755 incresed porformance all around.

yes its normal, all you need to do is watch your temps during game play, no test is better for you, then you putting your PC under load (aka how you use it)
you must be very excited for the 3.6 I wish more people shared this kind of info here on the forum, so users can see for themselves what to really expect from these chips keep us posted boss and thank you very much for the info so far |

Yeah burn test is much more stressful put ram usage up to 92% Prime 95 only upto 66% I had my highest temp thoughout at 72C a little higher than I like what do you think.

I wouldn't go anything below 20 for distance to TjMax, I would consider that red-line and anything below that danger zone.
but like I said before, the stress test you want to do is to check the distance while you play your games. since the only stress you are worried about are the ones from the things you do/play, you should pay attention to what the distance to TjMax is when playing your games. as you see different test push in different ways, but the only test that really concerns you is your use of the PC. so just pay attention to distance and temps while you are doing your thing Your game probably don't put as much stress thus allowing you to go higher in FSB while keeping a good distance. |
