Ok, first I'd like to say if you're reading this thanks, also if you take the poll, other thanks.
Last of all, I really want to buy the AURA All-In-One. Problem is I don't know which one is better Which one is better for playing games such as Battlefield 1, CS:GO, Fortnite, etc. Also like high-intensity Simulators like TABS or UEBS, Because I tried to download it on Windows 7 with a Intel Core i5 and it barely ran UEBS. AMD Ryzen Series or Intel Core X-Series Thanks! |

Hey there =o
I personally think not for just gaming but for anything that the intel series will out perform ryzen in anything, but ryzen is known to run cooler then intel. It really depends if you like to multi-task and do other tasks then just gaming, but I would choose an intel over a ryzen if money isn't an issue. |

The Ryzen 1800x turbos to 4.0Ghz with 8 cores and the 7800x Intel Turbos to 4.0 with 6 cores.
My choice would be neither, and get the 8Th generation 8700k that Turbos to 4.7 ghz and has 6 core. Not all 6 cores will hit 4.7,it does step down a little with each core. The X series main advantage is a quad core memory vs dual core for the others and more Pcie lanes for multi graphics cards. Most games don't care about quad core memory. Not familiar with those games, but unless they favor more cores, the Ryzen 8 core for example, over faster cores, the 8700k would be it . Most games want faster core speed. The Aura AIO doesn't give you the option to overclock because of its limited cpu cooler. Hope this helps. ![]() . Edited by bprat22 - 25 Jan 2018 at 8:30am |

As far as the Aura is concerned, the i7 choices are the best for gaming. Since bprat has pointed out no option for overclocking, you might consider the i7 8700 (no K). Not overclockable, but still turbos to 4.6 Ghz which is plenty for games.

Fir gaming you want 8700k, with AURA under heavy load you might run into heat issues as most all in ones do

One thing to keep in mind about UEBS is that while it's CPU intensive, it also makes extensive use of GPU Instancing, so you'll want a decent GPU as well. This is less of an issue with the TABS engine, but definitely something to be mindful of for UEBS.
