Hello All,

I have a EVGA P55 FTW edition motherboard equipped system that I purchased about a year ago. It currently has a HD5870 GPU. I was considering adding another HD5870 to run in crossfire. However, I can not seem to find any information that will indicate whether or not the MB will support crossfire. The MB manual states it will support dual video cards but does not specifically say crossfire is supported.

Additionally, searching the web, forums and manufacturing specifications all say the MB will support SLI, but once again nothing is mentioned about crossfire.

If it matters, the rest of my system consists of: i5 750 @ 3.5, EVGA P55 FTW edition, 8GB Corsair DDR3 1600MHz, 1TB WD Caviar Black, Intel 80GB SSD,  XFX HD5870. My PSU is a CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX. I am running Win 7 64-bit. My resolution is 1920 x 1200.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide.

EVGA supports both, you can do sli/cf. dual video card normally means both.
