Got my computer today, the XSPC reservoir with built in pump...how do you tell if its actually working, when I first plugged the pc in I actually saw visible activity in the bay window...which im assuming may have just been the tubes passing the air left inside...but now the liquid is rather passive, no visible signs of liquid movement...is this normal, I went to the xspc site and I read they are silent just figured there would be some sign of liquid movement, but could be wrong thought I would check with you'all before freaking out.

Other than this no major issues, my cathodes gave me a bit of an issue with a loose connection or something...didn't notice till I tried to put the side panel back on and lights shut off, and I had a weird issue with my cd/dvd not showing up, but I powered down and jiggled the connections a bit and that fixed that...fans aren't as loud as I was expecting either, see people complaining about em all the time on here but I only feel a slight breeze, and the sound of a box fan on low...speeds might be cause they hooked all my fans via mobo looks like. And I had a very slight freak out with windows activation, guess according to the tech my code was linked with the none revised board for some reason.

Check your temps, if your temps on the CPU (and GPU(s) if you have them LC'd as well) are fine. Below 50C idle I guess is the good range, on LC, you should be way down below that I think up to 30C? Anyways, as long as your CPU is less than 50C, it should be operating normally.

Check temps with Realtemp btw.

Looks like im jumping up and down from 28 to 36 with just rift updating and browsing the web. I did notice a blue wire behind the panel with a fan type connector that I traced up to the xspc unit, but could be just a wire for something im not aware of.

That wire is for the pump, yepper, pumps use 3-pin fan connectors.

If you have the dual front bay resevoir w/ the swiftech mcp355s or somethin along those lines like the setup DS used in my rig you won't see a lot of activity in the bay.  The blue wire is the RPM sensor you can plug into the mobo but it won't allow you to adjust the speed or anything.  What stage of LC did you go, CPU, GPU, or both?

ah ok, I just figured there would be some visible liquid movement...but there is nothing, its completely passive in the bay. My 1st liquid cooled pc, so wasn't sure just wanted to get some feedback. But yea, mine is probably the same as yours, xspc 2 bay reservoir with a pump at the lower section of it with a swiftech cpu block, I went stage 4 cpu only. Below is my setup, will be doing a review whenever I get around to it, just enjoying having my 1st pc that isn't from a local retail store! so might take me away to stray and take some pictures and whatnot...sure is amazing, I turned every possible setting up wow has to offer to max and I still end up with 100+ fps, and in rift with everything to the max 50+

If your LC was not working your temps would be hot.

Like DST said, your temps would shoot over 100C and the PC will shut down if the pump(s) are not working.  My setup shoots out like a garden hose so there is violent action in the reservoir, but most setups the flow is so low, that you will not notice much/any movement at all.
