I'm very curious, so I'm gonna ask a couple general hardware questions, some questions about how I'm confused on a a thing or two and inquires regarding custom builds, hope you don't mind! :P
1. Why does adding a internal digital media card reader disable the front 2 USB ports? In the case of the HAF X case, you can use a USB 2.0 interface card reader and snake it through the case and out one of the holes in the back to plug it in a USB 2.0 port without disabling the front USB ports. 2. Is it possible you guys in the future offer cheaper sound card solutions without sacrificing quality? There are solutions as good as the Creative and Auzen cards for half or even quarter the price, for example the Asus Xonar DX PCIe 7.1 sound card typically goes for around $90 and even the cheaper Asus Xonar DS PCI 7.1 sound card for $50 that provides good quality for the price (both are 192kHz/24bit and regarded with better drivers and more compatibility than Creative's cards are!). Check out the information about both cards here and here. 3. Do you guys offer SATA-III hard drives? If so and you purchase a HAF X case with Asus Crosshair IV motherboard with AMD processor and a SATA-III hard drive, do you guys connect it via SATA-III to achieve full 6.0Gb/s speeds? 4. Is it possible for you guys to look into offering the NZXT Sentry LX fan controller in the future? It basically does that the Aerocool fan controller displays have in addition to current time and whatnot, link here for more information. 5. How big is the tubing used with the Stage 6 H20 cooling? 6. With Stage 6 H20 cooling, the AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition and the Asus Crosshair IV motherboard, is is possible to have the CPU overclocked to between 4.2GHz and 4.4GHz? I've seen people with the same CPU and motherboard achieve 4.4GHz stable overclocks using a Corsair H50 before but it says it requires the i7 980X when the 1090T can achieve the same thing. 1. Card readers use the USB 2.0 interface. It's more aesthetically pleasing and convenient to connect it internally to the motherboard. On some cases, it may disable the front ports because some motherboards don't have as many USB 2.0 headers. Do your research and ask them to verify it.
1, 2, 3, 4, Your computer is not limited to the configuration page here. DS will do anything you ask them to, special order parts, case mods, paint jobs, airflow arrangements, ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, and include them in their warranty to a high extent. You can ask them to special order whatever sound card, controller, hard drives, ANYTHING, and you can tell them to drill out custom radiator mounts, connect SATA-III hard drives, snake usb cables, EVERYTHING. Thanks, it looks like a card reader will work fine without disabling the front two USB ports with the motherboard.
What about questions 5 and 6 regarding the tubing and overclocking? |

One more question, if you get the HAF X case, does it include the removable wheels for the case?

Yes, the casters come with. (They don't come attached to the case, they are packaged with the other accessories) |

Thanks! :)
Now, I've got a few more questions. 1. With the Stage 6 cooling (I guess Stage 4 and 5 too) what kind of pump & reservoir is used? Is it sitting in the case or is it a bay one, etc? 2. How easy is it to remove and change out the fluid used? 3. What kind of water blocks are used for the video card(s)? |
