I traced DS's logo in adobe illustrator to make a custom PNG with no background. For those that have the DS control center on your desktop you can use this to get rid of the black background.

I recolored mine to be silver so it matches my Bolt 3.

All you need to do is:

1st, move the DSCC to any location and place a shortcut on the desktop.
2nd, download the PNG here and then convert it to a .ico and place that file somewhere you won't accidentally delete it, it can be the same as the DSCC file.
3rd, right click on your shortcut and customize it. Navigate to the location where you saved the .ico file and voila! you now have a transparent icon!

I also have the original Adobe Illustrator file if anyone wants to edit or recolor it. Here's an example of what the custom icon looks like.
