Having an irritating problem, not really sure if this is a technical support problem or something for the configuration forum so I'll start here.
The 'Twister' AMD templates work perfectly (able buy/save/load). While the 'Custom' AMD templates do not let you do any of the above, and instead greet you with this:
With these 'Error Details':
I'd go ahead and order from the Twister config if it gave me the option for the 600w thermaltake that the 'Custom AMD PRO' has, but alas it does not. On to the rig! Case - Digital Storm Twister Value Silver (Can this case cool these components? Or would I be much better off with the Lite version?) PSU - 600w Thermaltake Purepower ed. CPU - Athlon x2 6000+ (2xcore/2mb cache/Hypertransport) Mobo - Asus M2N-Plus SLI Vista Ed. RAM - 2gb Corsair 800mhz XMS2 Dual Channel HD - 1x 320gb Western Digital Drive 1 - DVD Reader 16x/CD Reader 40x Drive 2 - DVD Writer 20x/CD Writer 48x Connectivity - Stock High Speed Network Port V Card - 8800gt (Default is EVGA superclocked right?) Sound - 7.1 high def onboard Cooling - Stock Lightning - No Cabling - No (Is this the 'Premium Wiring' service, or just rounded drive cables?) OS - Vista Home Premium 32bit Any help on getting this sorted out would be great, since I've grown accustomed to cyberpowerpc's (LULZ)customer service(LULZ) I really don't think I can get any more dissappointed in a company. ![]() *Edit* The cost on the above components should total @ 1305 Edited by syn - 19 Dec 2007 at 6:09pm |

The custom pc and desktop pc config pages are outdated so that is why you are receiving the error.
The corsair and silverstone psu are quality ones too but if you are determined to have the thermaltake 600w PSU, you have to order by phone or email. Yes, you will be receiving the 8800GT superclocked. round cables ![]() Edited by skyR - 19 Dec 2007 at 6:15pm |

Thanks for the fast reply, about the PSU:
The 'Updated' page seems to be giving a lot less for more comparing the 500w thermaltake to the 600w on the outdated page with a whopping $4 price difference. Can the 500w version handle those components? (I've had two PSUs fail on me previously). |

Yes, a 500W will be able to handle the setup.

One last question concerning the two cases (VALUE vs LITE) as I've been unable to find case-specific reviews on those two.
Is there a large difference in cooling/airflow gained by going from value to lite? Thank you :D |
