Hello all,
I felt the need to make this post because, even though it's hard for me to control my impatience, the customer service I have received so far is fantastic. Ann has been dealing with my harassment for almost a month now, and all I can say is that she had been nothing but helpful. She responds quickly, and makes sure to be as informative as possible. So even though there are a lot of horror stories about waiting times the customer service is top notch. Thank you guys for being awesome. Stage 1 - 3/12 |

If I may say, the DS M.2 selection for primary drive is a mistake. It is literally the slowest M.2 you can select. It's a SATA SSD, the others are all NVMe. If you want 1TB there, I recommend the Samsung 970 EVO PLUS. It's about 7 times faster, and will be a game-changer for all you do.
It's a good idea to partition that large a drive for, say, 200 or so GB for Windows, apps, and maintenance software. That way when you scan your C drive for viruses, malware, etc., you're done in seconds. Put your games on the other partition because you don't need to scan them. Windows has a partition wizard. |

That is a nice build. I agree with Cretae's suggestion as to the Storage Set 1. DS is very easy to make changes to the builds at your stage. I would give them a call soonest. Keep us posted. |

I appreciate the suggestion but I think I'll be fine with this to start off with, I'm currently moving away from a PC that only has an HDD so even though this M.2 isn't NVMe it will be a pretty decent step up. Also I do plan on upgrading some stuff as time goes on so I will most definitively change it out at some point. Thank you for the suggestion! |

You will really notice the change from HDD to SSD and be very pleased. That said, it is much easier to start with the NVMe than to upgrade later, like with RAM and the gpu(s). Enjoy.

I agree, SSDs make a huge difference. If it was me, I would most definitely pickup one.
