I know this topic has been posted several times but none of them seem to be recent so I was wondering if anything is new.I am already stretching my wallet by $1000 CAD for a Pre-Configured Lynx but then today I find out about customs tax.

Genuinely making me not want to purchase it now, was wondering how much it would be, I had called Customer Support and they said they didn't know but there was a chance it wouldn't be charged customs tax.

So I was wondering if anyone near the GTA area in Ontario has any insight on this?

Try contacting their sales manager (John, last I knew) directly.
