Need assistance here. It has been so long that I've even thought about this that I have no idea where to look for answers other than the friendly and knowledgeable folks on this forum.
In my new Vanquish will be the 1Tb HDD. I currently have 70Gb master & 120Gb slave in an IDE set up (yes, 10yr old drives or older, going strong). I want to save at least 75% of the current data from both of these drives to the new one and have absolutely no clue how this can be accomplished.
Suggestions?
Keep in mind that I will only have one monitor for use between both machines. Due to budget restrictions, I may end up sacrificing my want for the Dell UltraSharp U2412M for the cost difference between Vanq3 and Vanq4.
As always, thank you for any help.

One way is to get a USB, ide/Sata adapter from Amazon, etc that hooks your old drives to a USB port so you can drag/drop, copy, etc from old to new. Works for pics, music, etc but not programs that should be reinstalled, usually.

Why is it surprising that I had no idea such things existed? Should be able to tell because this problem that can be solved with HARDWARE was posted in a SOFTWARE DISCUSSION forum.
Again, thank you bprat... perhaps I should just put you on a retainer?
