Hey guys and gals,
Quick question. I am guessing Widdlecat can probably give me the most insight. What sound card would you recommend that is both Vista 64 compatible and supports Dolby Digital Live. I'd like a cheaper one, but if that's not an option, then so be it. I made the stupid mistake of buying a Turtle Beach Montego DDL on Ebay, which doesn't support 64-bit and judging by the non-existent support at Turtle Beach, probably never will. Guess I'll be selling it and trying to get a new card... ![]() Thanks for any assistance. Brandon |

I'm no expert but I know that the Razer Barracuda has it.

I know the Asus Xonar series supports more options for dolby sound, but I can't say anything about any particular feature...

Yeah the Xonar series (specifically the D2X) are excellent sound cards.

The Razer Barracuda supports most dolby schemes, but not all. The ASUS Xonar is the best choice if you're looking for flexibility in home theater use. They cover all dolby set ups I know of. Auzentech is more like Razer in the home theater support, but has the added advantage of a well-executed X-Fi support.
