Hello,

Basically im not sure if the upgrade from DDR2-DDR3 is worth it for me for its cost/performance ratio. If im playing MMO's such as WoW or Warhammer, but also want the ability to play cool FPS games say like Crisis, will it make much of a difference between the two different ram's? Will it make a big difference for me in the future?

the processor will make a big difference in crysis, that in turn will decide what ram you use




keep in mind ddr2 only goes to 1066 where ddr3 pretty much starts at 1066MHz and goes to 2000MHz.

The actual performance increase of ddr2 vs ddr3 is minimal, so much so that the price difference is not justified if money is a concern.  That being said, ddr3 is still better and it is mandatory if you buy an i7.
