It's 4x1GB sticks. If you want 2x2GB sticks, we can make a special request for you. (Our DDR2 choice has an option for 8GB which is four 2GB sticks).

That CPU will be released by us by early April once supply gets strong.

EDIT: Oops!

I would assume they would offer them in 4 X 1. But thats just a guess because that is what they did with the DDR2 ram. Id assume you could request 2x2, might cost extra though obviously.

Other question I have no idea about

Edit: Alex 2 by 2GB = 4  not 8 LOL. I think you ment 4 sticks of 2GB. Big%20smile

Thanks for the quick replies. & yes, I was hoping for 4 x 2GB sticks of 1600Mhz RAM. I'm glad to hear y'all take special requests. Smile

I've been luring around this website for about a month & comparing DS to AvaDirect, Alienware, Puget & Falcon Northwest. I have decided that I will buy from DS.

When potential customers ask for your input on these forums, you give honest advice as opposed to trying to sell more expensive parts. It's refreshing to see that you'll recommend part X over part Y when  you  see that  part Y is just overkill.  Thumbs%20Up

Now...just get some QX9770s & we can do business! Wink
