Hello, I had the GTX 1080TI..I just got the RTX 2080 TI. I just wanted to know once I install this thing..what do I need to do with all the the old 1080 drivers and files? What is the best and safest way to delete them so they don't conflict with the new drivers.

Nvidia drivers are universal for the most part, you should be fine 10xx and 20xx series use the same drivers. But if you want to uninstall them properly use DDU, it is bar none the best display driver Uninstaller.

DDU is DDU lol. It stand for Display Driver Uninstaller. It uninstalls your display drivers CLEANLY. Even tech support suggests it if you have a gpu RMA you need to file to rule out bad drivers as issues.
