Does anyone have the new Dell u2711?
 
Are you using it for gaming?
 
How would you rate it and would you recommend for gaming? (Pros and Cons)
 
Looking for a high res monitor and no stores have one so I can see it, so I'm trying to find people that have the u2711 and are using for gaming.

personally i think 27 inches is a lil big. i tend to like 24 but it is personal preference. the dell u2410 is really nice. these monitors have great panels, some say they are a little too bright. as far as color gamit goes they are awesome. this monitor can handle anything you throw at it. it is probably the best you can get as far as monitors.

you really design a computer around a monitor. so why buy a great pc and couple it with a monitor that isn't so hot... these monitors you will prob not find "in-store" because they are top of the line. this series of monitors are meant mainly for photo because of their wide color gamit (range) but they make great gaming monitors if you have the money.

Looking for an awesome monitor to compliment my new DS rig.
 
Really want to push the graphics while gaming, so I need a high res monitor for the best visual appeal.

well for 2560 x 1600 I like the monitor to be 30", so I would go for a 30", but thats just me.

but the u2711 is suppose to be a great monitor.
