Just saw a mention of Dell's new 27" monitor U2713HM. Looks like it's in Australia/Japan, but not US yet.
Dell U2713HM Australia

Quick notes based on specs and google search:
* Same resolution 2560 x 1440
* AH-IPS panel
* White LED backlight

Cons vs U2711:
* 16.7 million colors vs 1.07 billion
* Less connectors (lose 1 DVI-D, 2 composite video)
* No media reader

Pros vs U2711:
* Less power draw (42W typ/100W max vs 113W typ)
* Starts cheaper
* USB 3 ports
* DisplayPort 1.2 (not sure if it's an upgrade)
