Welcome to the forum cultureshock!

You only need to keep an eye on the reservoir coolant level.   You might need to top off coolant, perhaps once a year if needed...   It should be many years before there is any need to change coolant, and you only do that if you see the fluid getting dirty or showing residue in the coolant.    I have a cooler that has run for 7 yrs non stop and has only needed yearly coolant top-offs.    Ask DS what coolant they used and get a spare bottle of that coolant to use for top-offs.   Buy a coolant fill kit that includes a squeeze bottle and that’s all you need to handle top-offs.

There have been many different opinions as to refreshing the coolant in open loop systems. The main maintenance requirement is to keep the rads and fans clean.
Coolants have come a long way in staying stable. I suggest clear fluid since there is no possible pigment separation and accumulation. If it remains clear and temps are normal, why change? Do order extra when you get your system since coolants are constantly being changed and you must not mix different ones when you top off during the years of use.
Mine is three years old and still very clear so.....
Enjoy. Big%20Smile
