Hi, I had a question about the USB ports on the lynx chassis. It clearly says USB 3.0. But I've noticed with a few devices that I use, (my oculus quest 2 and my Wifi adapter) that it recommends me to use USB 3.0 which implies it's not a usb 3.0. Is this wrong? Or is there something I need to fix?

Not all the ports are the same type. The 3.0 ones usually have blue color inside them. If you're sure you are using a USB 3 port and it's not acting like it, go to Device Manager (rt click the Window icon lower left), select Universal Serial Bus controllers. If there are no type 3 listed, but you have a blue port, there is something amiss with your chipset drivers. The mobo may need an update, or something. Get in touch with with tech support.

Thank you for the response. I think I figured out what was going on. I was using a usb 2.0 cable haha. Just bought a 3.0 cable today and can’t wait to use it with them. Thanks so much Cretae

That's a relief, actually. It worried me that a mobo might have gotten by with chipset drivers disabled like that. Good catch. Happy outcome!

Nowadays cables make a lot of difference in the throughput of data. And it pays to get reputable brand cables.

Yeah haha I just got a new usb 3.0 cable and it works alot better than 2.0
