Digitalstorm defiantly needs to update their ssd pricing. I understand a markup of  somekind to cover testing and installation but a ~$200 markup for an ocz vertex kind of sucks.

All you really need is 6 gigs for a gaming rig. 24 gigs is just an insane amount of ram unless you use programs that will take full advantage of it like CAD or animation programs, and that's usually done on a workstation. Besides, 24GB of ram will cost around $2,400+ ($400+ a stick), and I'm pretty sure anyone buying a gaming rig is not going to dish out that kind of dough for no performance gain, so DS decided not to waste their time. In the event that someone actually wanted 24 gigs of ram, I'm sure DS will have no problem installing it for them, you'll just have to supply them with it.

You can request 24GB of ram, but you will never use all of it, maybe 12GB if you do heavy duty 3d editing.
