Does anyone know if the Digital Storm 1000 Watt PS is modular.
Corsair 750 Watt are on backorder.  I know the Corsair 750 is not modular.  I just can't come up off $166 for the Corsair 1000 Watt.  Need to decide.  Wait for the Corsair 750 or go with the DS 1000.

I was about to order too and I want Corsair 750. I hate backorder. How long would it take them to get the PS?

Thanks DST.  I knew you would say that and I'm sure most on the forums would suggest the same.  I wish I could afford the Corsair 1000W but I had to work two 70 hour weeks to get what I ordered. 
This computer is for my son who asked Santa for a computer for Christmas.  tell Santa told him that some special friends(DS) were building his computer.
I would not dream of ordering a computer from anyplace other than Digital Storm.
Support and Warranty are Bar None.

well I don't always recommend only corsairs, silverstone / p&c / some antecs and etc
there is a list of other good psu companies, but corsair is recommended the most here because it's in their pick list when configing your rig , I think
that or they really just love corsair only
 
and if it's for your kid, then the 750tx is more than enough, unless he's in high school and will be upgrading later, but then again .. highschool + letters to santa ? I think the psu choice will be the least of your worries there mate

@Buck, I was saying corsair for quality, forget about the 1000w, I meant just the 750w corsair, you will thank yourself later. Its is because your money is important that I'm stressing the quality of corsair.

and kyu, yes there are plenty of other good companies out there, but of course we are not gonna suggest anything out of the config page because it cost more, also there is nothing outside to recommend that corsair can't give you IMHO.
