Our Symantec Endpoint Protection keeps popping up and showing JS.Downloader!gen25 virus detected and deletes it whenever I visit the main page for Digital Storm: www.digitalstorm.com
It may be a false positive, or it could be something else completely unrelated to Digital Storm, but thought I would mention this since I visited other sites and had no problems. I'll have to experiment and see if this pops up anywhere else or under any other conditions. |

Cleared cache, restarted IE explorer, and revisited the site.
I haven't been able to narrow it down, but going to the main site didn't seem to trigger it. I went to the main page, then hovered pointer over Products and clicked on Desktops. Selected Slade, and chose the 3rd configuration, which launched the configurator. Then the notification popped up. The file being picked up and detected as risk JS.Downloader!gen25 is config[1].js Anyone have any ideas? Note, I do not have admin rights, so at some point next week I'll have to ask our IT department. Edited by Acetylide - 09 Dec 2016 at 1:18pm |

Sounds like it's blocking a script in Java, I can't replicate this with my AV or browsers, but I also don't have access to Symantec as I haven't used it over 15 years.

Can you put an exception for Digital Storm into your virus protection ?
