Kelly.

Can you talk about about your hard drive configuration? I've ordered two 500 MB 7200 RMP drives, but I don't really need a terabyte of disk space (yet). What kind of performance boost do you get from the duel Raptors and exactly how are you using them? TIA.

Can I talk about my computer???  OF COURSE!  :P

I have 3 150GB Raptor Hdds.  1 for OS setup, and 2 raided together for games.  Then I have 2 500GB HDDs for crap and storage.

I am actually (geez my bank acct is going to hate me) thinking about getting a 32GB Raptor HDD for just my swapfiles and that's it.

We shall see!!

As far as performance boost, my system is lightening fast.  Apps load faster, everything is just up to par with my processor.  No bottlenecks here.  But if I could find a way to overclock my HDDs, I would!  :-P

Morning Kelly,

Damn! I hope you get an employee discount.

If it's not too late, I think you've convinced me to dump one of the 500s and use a 130 Gig Raptor for the boot drive. I'll put in a formal request through the "tech. support" tab.
