Do fans speed up automatically?

Hi, I have a question about the PC's fans.
My current PC will increase it's fan speed automatically when I'm doing something like watching a movie or playing a game, but will a Digital Storm PC do that, or do I need to add a fan controller?

YES they will!! Remeber though in your bios there are settings. You can set your PC fans manually or set them to smart fan which is what your experiencing on your PC. Smart fan setting makes the fans go faster when things get hot, theres a set temp once reached the fans go faster as when playing high end graphics games or watching movies!

bigjguitar hit the nail on the head!

When doing any thing intensive, like gaming, the GPU fan and CPU fans will automatically spin faster to cooler the components. The fans that are used to blow air into the chassis, however, must be controlled through a fan controller, the bios or by the Hydrolux software depending on what you chose with your system.

IIRC, you didn't bump it... it was necro'd by an individual selling something. Perhaps one of your cohorts removed the offending spam before you had a chance to see it, therefore making it appear to be current...

Just a guess.
