Does anyone know anything about Swan Speakers.  I hear that they are really good.  I also noticed that they are hard to find.

Also I bought a Samsung T240 24" montior does anyone have one?  Can you please tell me about it, I get it on wed.

yes, Swans is really good. Best in the industry imo.

Newegg use to carry Swans but they don't anymore, you can find them on The Audio Insider. If you want to listen to them before you purchase, you going to have to find the nearest HiVi store or someone who already owns a pair of speakers from them.
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

personally i would go to a home audio place and sit and listen to a bunch of different brands.  When it comes to home audio a lot of speakers and amps are good for a bunch of different things ie. different genres of music, home theater vs. music listening etc.  Also keep in mind if you buy these epic speakers and have a sh*tty amp powering them they aren't going to sound nearly as good as they can with a strong amp behind them.

it all depends on your budget honestly.  A great brand i actually went to go listen to today is B&W.  They have a few different lines of speakers with a fairly broad price range.  Amps by classe/rotel/bryston are all good choices but if u can find a high end audio place in your area they will be able to help you out

eek then those brands are way out of your range.  I thought u were going for the best sound possible. For that money i would read some reviews on systems for the PC, i know creative makes some solid system.
