Nope, Alex (management) has mentioned this on multiple occasions. I think there might be plans to have a payment plan at some point in the undermined future, but right now you'd need to pay DS upfront then use a CC, etc. if you needed to make payments.

Sorry we do not offer direct financing by ourselves. You'll have to use a credit card if you would like to make monthly payments on a purchase.

Its not really offered by DS, they will recieve the full payment. You will then pay your credit card bill off at the rate you choose. Its still financing, just not directly with DS.

The ODE's are good deals. Tough to beat . The ODE 3 gives you a SSD for faster boot times, a blu-ray which you might or might not want and the gtx 680. The 680 is about 5-10% better gaming than the 670 in the ODE 2 but costs alot more.
Not sure what games/apps you use or the monitors resolution but here's a build, a bit more, but the best air cooled case, a Sabertooth mobo with 5 year warranty and capable of sli and the Noctus D14 air cooler for quiet, dependable cooling. Can't really tell you want to get for sure, its kinda of like asking us what race car to get without telling us what kind of a race, drag racing? f1? nascar? in short we need to know what kind of games you play and what kind of monitor setup you have (single/multiple) and what the native res of your monitor is. once we know that info then we can tell you for sure what to get, otherwise we could endup telling you to get too little or waste your money by telling you to get too much. the build bp has is a great starter but again we don't know what you really need. |

Well I'm going to use a single monitor at max resolution( unless ill need to tone it down for better performance). I'm planning on getting a new monitor with my system, so if you have any suggestions with that as well.
First off this will be my first rig( for gaming) I love all fps....bf3 crysis boarderlands bioshock Mmorpgs Diablo, guild wars , Starcraft ..you guys get the point. I love graphics and want that sh*t running butter smooth. I would love a rig that would manhandle crysis3 with no issue and games to come* What would be the best build for a $1200 -$1500range and $1500- up. |

Again without knowing your res I can't possibly tell you what it takes to run it.
if you need a monitor then lets figure that out first, pick one: Dell UltraSharp Monitors what res you use depends on the native res of your monitor, thats gonna be the one you gonna want to use. Edited by DST4ME - 06 Mar 2013 at 12:49am |

For max gaming and 60 fps with that monitor and playing today's shooters I would recommend sli, 2x gtx 670. Your build or the one I posted with the change to sli would give great gaming, even if you went with a higher, 2560x1600 res monitor in the future. For your first budget of $1200-1500 I would go with the ODE level 1. Its one of DSs very good bang for your buck systems and has the gtx 670. I would consider the Noctua cooler as in my build for tops in cooling, quiet and tops in reliability but the Vortex 120 sealed unit is popular and a good track record. The gtx 660 is cheaper because it has alot less memory bandwidth and shader and texture units needed for tops in rendering a screen. The 660Ti is better than 660 but still is behind the 670, but not nearly as much. The better the card now means less performance loss in the future. But, I do understand budget. Hope this helps. Here's a link that compares the 660 to 670 with various games and resolutions. With it you can also compare the 660Ti and 670, etc. Edited by bprat22 - 07 Mar 2013 at 3:12am |

Good info thanks...in your previous build you put the 670 in and not 680 ..is that because you prefer the 670 or is it better bang for the buck versus 680?.. as for storage, (I'm clearly a noob) should I use ssd as primary then a tb wd as extra? How does that work..?

The 680 will give you 5-10 % better gaming over the 670, but for alot more money. Bang for the buck, the 670 wins.
SSD would be for the OS(Windows), and most used apps and games. Lot quicker boot up times and with some games, less lag as screens refresh. A smoother experience. The HDD is alot cheaper storage and would be for music, pics, downlaods, older games etc. You don't need a SSD but the general feeling is, once you have it you'll never go back. Not sure of your top budget, but you could go with single 670 for now and add another later if needed. The single 670 with 1920x1080 res would max alot of games and games like Crysis, Metro, etc would need settings lowered a bit but still nice. For a single card now and maybe a sli later just make sure you get a sli capable motherboard like the Deluxe or Sabertooth. The LX mobo in ODE's 1-3 doesn't do sli. Ok I've been messing around with different configs...I won't go anything under i5 3570k, is the 3770k necessary for my use. I don't do any rendering. I was looking into the bolt as well. I was able to configure one to about $1600 with an i5, gtx680 ssd hdd... If I ever wanted to upgrade CPU and GPu in the bolt, would it be able to...and back to CPU..would I be safer with i7 3770k for it to handle future games apps ect, or is the i5 more then capable for future use

For strickly gaming, the 3570k chip is all you need for now. The future.. who knows. Gaming does little with Hyperthreading .
But, the cpu is the brains of your rig and the 3770k's hyperthreading does help some with Windows and alot of apps. Not a big help but some for sure. Is it worth another $180 I think it is? Your call. If you can swing it then yes. But not worth sacrificing to a lower video card for example in my opinion. The Bolt can be upgraded like all DS rigs. Video card is easy. As far as cpu upgrade..... any new cpu will also need a new motherboard because of the cpu socket pin count like lga 1155. A new cpu coming would be lga1150 I believe. The Bolt is tight but all its parts can be upgraded. Edited by bprat22 - 06 Mar 2013 at 2:46pm |

Alright we'll sorry for some more noobish questions.... But would you recommend bolt or a x17 laptop...besides of the obvious differences with each rig....
$1700-2000 for bolt( not including display, keyboard, mouse) Or x17 laptop |

No problem with the questions. Glad to help.
For me, the Bolt for sure unless you need portability. I'd rather game on a 24" monitor than 17" and a gaming desktop I believe would be easier to upgrade. A laptop can connect to a monitor but if its stationary then go desktop. With the power of todays laptops its not as cut and dry as before but I still say Bolt. |

Desktops are more powerful and offer greater performance for price than a laptop.
A laptop like the x17 is primarily if you're moving around enough were a small desktop and monitor would be harder to transport than a large laptop. |

I got the ODE lvl 1 and I was surprised at how good it ran Crysis 3, I had everything max except motion blur, and was using the high SMAA setting at 1920x1080 and dont recall seeing my fps below 60 and often well above.
