DOOM crashes my computer. HELP!

Doom (2016) makes my computer crash after the first loading screen. It's the only game that does this. Does anyone have a solution. I've tried almost everything.

i5 6500
GTX 1070
16gb RAM
WIN 10
1440p monitor

If it's only Doom then you might have better luck on a Doom-specific forum. That said, I did a cursory search and found a few people talking about the same issue as you, so you might check out these links:






Link 5 is an official Bethesda support page. I can't vouch for the efficacy of any of the suggested fixes in the above links as I didn't have any issues with Doom 2016 myself, but I just wanted to share them with you in case anything contained in them helps.
