ok guys i have been shoping around for the last 3 weeks for a gaming rig. i need some advice on which one i should get. let ma know what you guys think.

Comparing the two computers is a lot like comparing apples to oranges. The first one is heavy on ram and lighter on cpu power. The second goes with an extreme cpu and RAID 0. I think a better comparison would be the first one with DST4ME's setup. Either way, you could also cut the ram to 4GB to save money at first. If you chose to go with the HD 4870x2 vid card, I would recommend the ASUS Rampage X48 mobo for better OC and audio.

Why dont you just overclock your processor yourself and save $45? But then again, it looks like money is not an option here....

see thats the thing i really dont know that much about computers but i know enough to get by. i was thinking about running Vista 64 bit. Money is not really a problem. in the end i dont want to be spending 6G's on a computer that will be out dated in a year. as far as games i play just about everything and my laptop is not cuting it any more. i was looking at a $4500 cap. you guys know more about it then i do. let know what i could get for $4500. thank you again for your time.
