OK, before I Show you the photos let me just say. I ordered a Gaming PC from DSO without consulting anyone on forums and without talking to a single customer representative. So pretty much went to website put together a build and waited lol . Yes would have done it a little different if I had to do it all over again. That Being Said. I could care less about 3dmark scores or stressing my system. Comes Down To One Thing. I Paid For A Gaming Machine and OMG I Got So Much More. Does This Beast Do What They Said It Would ?
You bet your ass it does !!!!!!!
12 sec boot (after fixed boot priority)
Call Of Duty Black Ops 1900 by 1200, 8AA, rest Maxed
set at 133.33 getting 143.
Metro 2033 haha chewed it up spit it out. Still Hungry !
Quiet beyond belief. I mean seriously, I kinda wanted some noise.
Not one single issue with this machine, not one.
Now on to that free game [STAR TREK ONLINE]. I wouldnt insult my baby by installing that. Might as well get an nintendo 64 emulator.
Thanks DSO for my Blue Goddess and Thank You To everyone in forums. you guys have been great .

on the fan question, if your temps are good, then leave it as is. But, from the pics it looks like the fan in the rear is exhausting? If so, to make temps a little bit better, reverse that fan to intake, and reverse the upper fan to exhaust. It won't make a big difference, but a couple degrees.
Enjoy!!

Goggles are from COD4 Prestige edition night vision goggles and yes they work lol. The car is from COD Black Ops prestige edition, Love the camera on car and screen on controller.
But the machine is what counts. Still not a single issue. Well besides it being ultra quiet.
Still out performing my expectations. |

My machine has not had one single issue sinced the day it was turned on.
Quality build on this one. They took their time.
Performance has been pushed and the machine delivered.
Very Quiet.. Reading the post about GPU, Rad, and LED Noise.
Glad Im not a experiencing any of that.

How do you like the blue lighting, I went with red due to my last system being blue but it was like a white/blue and far to bright for me.

He's Back
Greetings to all DSO employee's and members. 10,000 hours 1,000,000 frags later and my PC is still going strong. I have searched all over and I can not find where they have this energizer battery hidden. Seriously I purchased my PC six years ago and It runs like a Jessie Owen's still. The only part I have had to replace was the pump in year four. Ordered same pump replaced and She's been going strong ever since. Also upgraded card from 570 to 770 classified [not because it went bad , rather needed an upgrade]. Which brings me to why I am here. I am not in need of a new PC rather I have a craving for a new PC. Below are two configurations would appreciate any feedback anyone has to offer. Code : 1707165 Code : 1707174 Will be requesting an EVGA card and possibly an EVGA board. Leaning toward first PS. Little fact some people might say buying a high end PC from Digital Storm is quite expensive. Maybe but let's put it into perspective 6 years @ 365 days = 2190 days of play $3,400 / 2190 days = $1.55 a day [roughly]and still going There is no price that can be put on being able to do the things you love as much as possible. DSO lets me do it in style. dedication, craftsmanship, and reliability that's why I'm back. Edited by FR3SHM3AT - 08 Jul 2017 at 4:24am |

Congrats on your long running DS rig.
For your new config, I would get the gtx 1080 if you use a 1080p monitor. The 1080 Ti would be for 1440p if you want more games running at max and good frame rates. The gtx 1080 is a good card for 1440p, but some games might need minor tweaking. Difference between the 2 configs is the case. Velox is a well built, excellent airflow choice. Apollo 760t is a good all around, little less expensive choice that still gets it done. Plus, one is a left facing window and the other right facing. Not sure your desk setup helps determine which. The power supply is way overkill. Single card only needs a 750 watt, the 850 watt if you like extra headroom like I do. |

Greetings Alex
Bprat22 thx for heads up on the doors . I need mine on the left side, so Velox is out. As to the power supply wanted a fully modular. Thx again on the door thing, I almost messed up. |

My pleasure.
I also prefer the left window. When the time comes, not sure if I'll move things around to accommodate a right window like Velox. The G3 750 watt and G2 850 watt psu are fully modular. G is for Gold. The B1, B for bronze, is only semi modular. Fully modular is my pick for sure. Good luck and keep us updated. Hopefully you'll get another 7 year running rig.
