I haven't settled on a configuration just yet. And I won't, until I straighten out this SSD and HDD options. For reference, the Alienware laptop I recently buried (R.I.P), had a 500GB hdd. I filled that thing. That was all game installs, Windows, and saves.

What exactly will the SSD do. at only a max 480gb, that won't cut it for my game installs and saves. Does it become the default C drive?

I'd prefer most games, installs, saves (which automatically save to "My Documents" in most games) be on my larger 2nd drive by default. Is that even possible (without registry shenanigans). And I'd be adding a 1TB drive as well. I'm looking at this build at this point. 770791 .
