Topic: Driver Issue Posted: 12 Sep 2019 at 11:45pm |
I am new here and excited to share knowledge with like-minded people here. I have a driver issues reading that Windows has disabled my GPU because it has detected a problem (Code 43). I did a clean re-installation of the driver and Windows. Most of the Youtube videos were no help and the tech support from Digital Storm and I were unsuccessful in resolving this issue. If anyone has any suggestions I may have overlooked I would highly appreciate a helping hand here. I have a beast of a machine and can't really use any of the 3D software till this gets resolved. [

Sorry to hear you are having issues with Win 10.
Think you need to try working with Microsoft Windows Support folks to make sure your copy of Win 10 is fully updated to the latest greatest version. They may also have a specific fix for that error code. I had something similar and they were actually quite good to work with via chat session. Helped me get the big Fall update version I had failed to run. My rig being many years older than yours, NVidia Support had me download and run Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to clear out all old or corrupted display drivers, but you should not need that step with a newer DS rig. Once Microsoft Support makes their software all good again for ya, then you go get NVidia GEForce Experience and let it give you the latest NVidia video driver version and hopefully you are all better. Good luck! Edited by HockeyBuck - 13 Sep 2019 at 1:18am |

Sorry you are having that problem. Had the same Code on a GTX 980 and the gpu was bad. Go to: Start > Windows System > Control Panel > Device Manager > Display Adapters open it up and it will show your gpu(s). Maybe one of them will have an asterisk. Disable it and you won't show an error. What system do you have?
