I bought an M17 laptop before they were removed, it's great. but my duel ati mobilty radeon hd 3870s driver seems to be out of date, at least that is what champions online is telling me. I go out to the ati website to download drivers and i can't find it anywhere. Am i missing something? I see radeon hd 3870 but not mobilty radeon hd 3870, are they the same thing. I've looked into some programs like driver robot but from what i read they are a bunch of scams. any thoughts?

Umm... normally I'd be helpful and cheerful. But stating "Hey can you help me? I don't feel like doing this myself" is not gonna elicit my best side..

That said, it looks like there's no official support from ATI regarding your GPU. You'll probably have to get a 3rd party driver. ATI seems to hate it's customers at times...

wow, ok i re-read my post, that makes me sound really lazy. I was looking for the drivers for a few hours last night, and this morning I posted at work. After giving it some thought i might be able to get the drivers i need from alienware or ocz.

Much better :)

Glad you found the answer, DS should set up that kinda thing. Then again, we've been pretty demanding lately so I'll take my win with the increased customer support.
