I bought an M17 laptop before they were removed, it's great. but my duel ati mobilty radeon hd 3870s driver seems to be out of date, at least that is what champions online is telling me. I go out to the ati website to download drivers and i can't find it anywhere. Am i missing something? I see radeon hd 3870 but not mobilty radeon hd 3870, are they the same thing. I've looked into some programs like driver robot but from what i read they are a bunch of scams. any thoughts? |

Nothing huh. I went on to Champions website and other people are having the same problem. I still found out that I need other drivers I don't feel like looking up (11 according to driver robot). does anyone know any good programs, i'm not opposed to paying i just want a program that works.

Umm... normally I'd be helpful and cheerful. But stating "Hey can you help me? I don't feel like doing this myself" is not gonna elicit my best side..
That said, it looks like there's no official support from ATI regarding your GPU. You'll probably have to get a 3rd party driver. ATI seems to hate it's customers at times...

Much better :)
Glad you found the answer, DS should set up that kinda thing. Then again, we've been pretty demanding lately so I'll take my win with the increased customer support.
