Hi, I'm looking at the DigitalStorm Nova 15 as my next laptop, but I'm a little confused about the storage options. In the configurator there is an option for a secondary M.2, but I don't see any option for a standard 2.5". I was wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to put a standard 2.5" in it, or if the only option is M.2?

Welcome to the forum jytub!
The Nova is brand new, so might be a while to wait. You would do better asking our DS management guy Alex at [email protected]. M.2 NVME SSD are the new thing in drives and they lay thin and flat on a motherboard...so it makes sense to me that they would use it in thin newer laptops over normal sized laptop SSD’s. M.2 NVME SSD’s are 5 times faster than SATA III SSD’s.

We have an extended battery upgrade on the Nova which does not leave room for 2.5" SSD drives.
