Just wondering if DS ships gaming pc's to Canada (Calgary, Alberta to be exact)?
And if they do, is it also free shipping? |

Yes they do. Call them to place an order.
Free shipping only applies to the United States. People else where in the world has to pay for shipping & handling. |

I went through the same thing Brown.
And trust me, its worth it :P I went through a lot of the Canadian boutiques, the only decent one I could find was in B.C, and charged for shipping anyway! Shipping for me was something like 90-110? I can't remember the exact price. |

I live in the United State (Alaska) and I had to pay extra for the shipping. However, I was happy to do so. Anything to get my DS system. ER, within reason.

don't forget about the nice import tax our canadian government tacks on when UPS says they have your parcel... heh, I was expecting it, but it's still a nice chunk of change. I had to pay 600 dollars in import tax.. anyway it was worth it.

I think it's 14% of the purchase price,
so $560 + brockerage fees on a $4000 computer, I think... call UPS to confirm.

I only paid 90-110 I think total on my 3100$ DS system.
That included every cost I needed to pay, unless I am suddenly going to have this sprung on me last minute, which I doubt is going to happen as it ships today or tomorrow
And I'm in the maritimes, so its going cross the border.
EDIT- Suddenly remembering more information, the shipping could be around 140$ or more Edited by Rai - 18 Feb 2008 at 4:46pm |
