Im looking at the warranty for laptops and im not seeing anything of significance that would sway me to purchase it. It seems the only your getting is an extra year for DS parts from their inventory. Everything else they are already doing as part of their customer service.
Is there anything im missing?

You're getting 1 year parts warranty defaulted and more, like 3 year parts, for an additional charge.
The same as desktops. |

For computers I also consider and with DS did go with 5 year/3 year parts. I agree.... good piece of mind. If a video card, mobo, psu go bad its there dime.
Most other things I don't do extended warranty. With DS you get great service so its money put to good use. Of course you hope you never have to use it.
If anyone has doubts about Digital Storm..... Don't. They do what it takes. Edited by bprat22 - 23 Nov 2012 at 2:36pm |

Yeah see that was another question i had. What parts covered exactly becuase when they said defective DS parts i was thinking like the RAM not the mobo or video card since they have their own warranty.

I see what you mean but DS warranties all parts. To be honest, some parts like a fan or internal lighting might be cheaper to buy yourself because DS charges shipping for the part. But, the mobo, video card, cpu, psu and HDD are all covered. If you have the 3 year/ 1 year parts warranty and it expires then DS helps you get manfactuers warranty. I go for 3 year parts even though most parts have 3 year manufactuers warranty because DS will troubleshoot and send the part. No 3rd party to deal with.
