So yesterday i was playing Crysis and buumm... the monitor turn black. The weird part is that i could still hear the sound of the game.
At first i thought it was probably the GPU, then i turn off the computer and when i turn it back on it make this weird beeping sound.... and guess what? the monitor stil not showing anything.

Now, today morning i try turning it back on and it will make the same sound and nothing on the monitor (black screen), then i turn it off again and try to turn it back on, but this time the computer wont even turn on at all.
Then i tried again, but this time the UV light turns on for 1 second and turns back off.

So i called DS (Sarah answer), she told me to remove the GPU and try turning it back on.... we did several steps and Sarah's conclusion was that my mother board is broken and I have to send it back so they can replace it.
So im guessing I wont have my DS rig for 3 weeks.
Good thing we found this problem now.

THE BAD
- Wont be able to play games and enjoy this beast
THE GOOD
-I will have more time to study for my calculus class

Problems are going to crop up now and then...it's the one's that are intermittent that drive you nuts.  Keep your sense of humor...dig into that calculus book...and it should be game time soon.  Good Luck. Wacko

Did you have to send the entire case back?  If not, did you have to remove the mobo yourself??  What a nightmare, sorry for your troubles.

I definitely feel your pain Perlife, but as Zardoz said, the silver lining here is that you found the problem quickly and, being under warranty, it's being fixed for "free".

Now go study! No excuses!! Embarrassed

I'm assuming he's sending the case back. I would!
With the mb being replaced, that of course means all components are being removed and reinstalled, and that's what the warranty's for IMO.

Yea I have to send the whole case back, like lgm25c said "that's what the warranty is for". So i guess i wont have it for 3 weeks.

Also i guess i will make a new review once I get the computer back. this time with the whole story.
