hi i just my new DS rig and want to have my old comp dsl capable
the problem is when i look at the back it doesn't have a CAT5 jack hole it has a modem but no place for cat 5 ...how do i hook it up? put a wireless card in the back? and do they make pci cards for older pc's? and im with verizon does it matter what wireless network card i buy ...if they even make one for the old dell
any help?? my kids have the old pc and are driving me crazy! my wife has my old DS comp and we are fine there..just need to find out how to network the kids

I'm confused as to weather you want wired or wireless...
Most network cards, if not all use PCI. There are also USB modems, it's worth asking Verizon if you don't want to spend cash on a network card. |

yes want to go wireless as the first option ....wired 2nd choice....could i just pop out the modem card and replace it with a wireless network card?? and does verizon need a special card or just the run of the mill card?

You should be able to put a wireless network card in any PCI slot (you could replace your modem card if desired.)
