I'm confused as to weather you want wired or wireless...

Most network cards, if not all use PCI.

There are also USB modems, it's worth asking Verizon if you don't want to spend cash on a network card.
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

yes want to go wireless as the first option ....wired 2nd choice....could i just pop out the modem card and replace it with a wireless network card?? and does verizon need a special card or just the run of the mill card?
thanks

You should be able to put a wireless network card in any PCI slot (you could replace your modem card if desired.)
