Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the place for this question but I'm thinking of buying a new rig from DSO, but I was looking at the EVGA GTX 480 cards sold by DSO and they are OEM with "TR" at the manufacturing SKU. I read that cards with "TR" does not receive the lifetime warranty offer by EVGA. My question is, if I the rig I plan to buy GTX 480 EVGA brand, is it retail or OEM?

thx guys for the help

DS will give you a warranty for it instead if you get it from them. The guarantee is 1,2 or 3 years for all the parts they supply you with, including the card, depending on which guarantee you get (3, 4 or 5 year)

You can generally count on any manufacturing defect turning up in the first year or so of operation, after that the largest cause of failure is USUALLY something the owner does to break the thing.  The 3 year warranty from DSO should protect you from any product defect.
