DSO laptops do DDR3?

Just curious, since when I first looked at the laptops here, I saw only DDR2.  Made me wonder if DDR3 laptop even existed yet lol.

Saw some in newegg, so curious.  If a customer requested it, could you guys pull it off?  Just curious is all.

Don't see how it would make a bigg difference in laptops but I'm sure as soon as nehalem goes into a laptop, that laptop will be ddr3

ddr3 uses less power than ddr2 so the labtop battery lasts longer.. the only reason that ddr3 is useful right now.
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

It's nice to have, because, you also get the new Centrino 2 platform as well that has better battery management.

We do carry laptops that have DDR3 memory.

Ya the GDs are dual core but have ddr3

but the BMC is quad and ddr2

can't wait for quad and ddr3 if the difference is worth it.
