For a single gpu system looks good to me, if you want to have DS do higher oc then go with z68 pro otherwise you are good.
don't forget the oem 200mm fan thats optional on top. can't tell you to wait or not, personally I like to wait, right now I have to upgrade a gpu in one of my systems but I'm deciding to wait to see what the new gpus have to offer and how much they effect current gpu prices. Honestly I'd wait if I had a working computer. Even if the new cards aren't much more powerful, they will drop the current card prices significantly. I'm stuck on a netbook now though, and I'm not going to wait 3 more months :P

We are not sure about prices dropping, I remember when the 5xx cards came out, the prices on the 480 didn't drop much at first.

Maybe not right away but I'd imagine they would drop fairly soon following the release, maybe a few months?

Its possible you never know, some times the new cards endup having the same power and price as the old one, as it was the case for 570 and 480, when the 5xx cards came out.
I mean even now you can get a 480 for what it cost you to get the 570 or even higher. but if one can't wait, IMHO if the wait is under 3 months, it does not hurt to wait. |
