I orderd my pc the other day and requested a dual boot configuration (xp home/vista ultimate).
Is there any point in this? I am thinking of changing to only XP, what do you guys think? I am unfamiliar with this and don't want any issues later on by having a dual boot system.
What's your experience with having a dual boot configuration, any issues? opinions appreciated,

I run a dual boot, XP Home 32 bit/Vista Premium 32 bit. If I had it to do over, I would still run a dual boot, but with XP 32 bit, and Vista Premium 64 bit.
As for issues, none. It was easy to install the OS and even easier to use ( I owned a retail copy of XP home and came close to ordering my system with no software).
All that is needed is to set up seperate partitions for XP and Vista. Install XP first, then Vista in a different partition. A choice on which you'd like to load comes up at system boot after the self checks finish. Highlight the choice, and hit enter. If you don't select, it defaults to the most recent OS (Vista) and loads that up.
