Dual Boot Question

   I purchased a system last year with 3 HDD.  One drive has Vista 32, one drive is blank, and one drive has all of my programs on it.
I want to put Win Pro 7 64 on the empty drive so I can dual boot.  I have an OEM copy of Win Pro 7 64 and am wondering if I just have to stick the DVD in and choose the E: drive as the load or what.

Is it as easy as I think or am I missing something?  I am literate enough in computers to really screw things up so I want to get it right before I start.  My google searches have left me a bit confused.
