Hey all, i just ordered a new system and I had a quick question. I
didnt see an option to do dual gpus. Is it possible and how much of a
price bump is it? Ie, a dual geforce 8800 640 vs only one...

It is better in general to use 1 higher end card rather than 2x cheaper cards when comparing the same $$$ spent. Check out the Twister Pro configurator and you will see the choices and pricing for all available cards in SLI.

Wow, thanks for the quick reply! So you guys think that a 8800 gtx now would be a better idea then 8800 gts and planning on upgrading possibly later? And what would be a good power supply rating if going with only the gtx?

if not going SLI in the future with it then the 620W should be fine, if going SLI go with the 750W.

The GTX is a really fantastic card. SLI is not a perfect thing, your mileage can vary from one game to the next. I recall being online with a friend playing Eve Online, and he remarked that there was zero difference in his FPS with SLI enabled. That's the most extreme example I can think of, but in that sort of situation, the single card is what you get for result. This is one reason I suggest the better card. The price will likewise be lower for the single GTX. Other benefits are: lower power consumption, less heat and better airflow, but so that you can see the two cards benchmarked vs price: (Benchmark from Tom's Hardware)
Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion (outdoor) 1920x1200x32 0x AA, 8x AF HDR-R
GeForce 8800GTS 640MB, SLI : 38.5 FPS Price: $884 (DSO)
GeForce 8800GTX 768MB: 28.7 FPS Price:$669 (DSO)
Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion (outdoor) 1280x1024x32 0x AA, 8x AF HDR-R
GeForce 8800GTS 640MB, SLI : 54.0 FPS Price: $884 (DSO)
GeForce 8800GTX 768MB: 43.6 FPS Price:$669 (DSO) Obviously you know best what sort of resolutions you intend to game at, but I included a relatively high resolution, and a more typical resolution for smaller monitors. In both cases, the cards compared are at stock clocks. Both setups are going to provide a playable experience with the eye candy cranked up on one of the more demanding (DX 9) titles out there atm. Neither will do Crysis cranked out to max, but then again, what, short of SLI GTX or Ultras will?
In order to determine the appropriate PSU, you'd really have to post a complete build.

Excellent, thank you, you guys have been so helpfull. I have decided to go with the gtx and the quad 2.4 oc'd. Once again, the quality of digital storm's customer service and community set it apart from the pack.
