I intend to clean out the case interior about once every two weeks; it's a no-brainer, as it is hot where I live, I have two cats, no a/c, the PC will be floor-mounted and my office is open via french doors to all the crap that the L.A. air can hurl into it. Dust will bring my spiffy new DS PC to its knees in an unfiltered case if I am not proactive in preventing buildup.
I believe it is easy to remove the side panel after disconnecting the main power supply but with the number of peripherals I have, this might still be a little awkward.
Is anyone aware of another solution, such as aftermarket filters that do not impede ventilation? Has anyone modded, or will DS mod, a HAF 932 for this purpose?

Well though I don't have an answer for you'r questions. I can say that adding any air filters of any kind will reduce air flow. Thats the sole reason Coolermaster didnt add any in the first place. Also as long as you are comited to cleaning out you'r PC once a week or two I really don't think you have to worry about it, it shouldnt be a problem.
I know ALOT of people on here have the HAF case and LOVE it. so wait for one of them to drop by, as they'l be able to answer you'r questions more directly.

The CoolerMaster ACTS 840 has filters that are removable. They are simply the mesh size of a window screen. I have one and the internal temps right now is 85 F and the room temp is 70 F. I have my rad fans reversed so I am drawing air from the outside into the box and out the back. No issues. Everything is water cooled so that is probably why the temps are so low.

Thanks, guys. On reflection -- and advice from various people -- I think the best solution will be opening the case and administering a little hi-pressure air about twice a month. I cannot tell you quite how filthy the air gets here; dirt, pollen, smoke from brush fires, etc.
