I don't know about the best, but several years ago I used a pair of free applications, DVD Decrypter and DVDShrink. I believe their current equivalents are called DVDFab Decrypter and ShrinkTo5, and that there are still free versions of each. The second app, DVDShrink/ShrinkTo5, is used to compress the full size DVD data to fit on a single layer disc if you can't burn double layer. If you're looking for commercial software, there are plenty of products out there. VSO Software seems to make some useful applications for this. I've used their ConvertXtoDVD.

DVDs I think has only trail version now.
Nero does a good job of burning/copying. you will need DVDShrink tho as the regular DVD is 9.5GB and our record-able DVDs are 4.7GB. Edited by DST4ME - 23 Apr 2009 at 4:38am |

eh. Videohelp has a lot of old information and you'll notice that many of the guides are taken from doom9.. Further, finding software links is much more difficult. I like how they are very easy to find, one click downloads on Doom's site.
