Yea I'm just all over the forums with questions. (you guys are just so darn helpful

If my HP w1907 has a DVI-D input and a VGA should I use the dvi or the vga?

If you can use dvi, that is the preferred connection for an LCD display. digital vs analog. vga being analog. If you use vga, the monitor has to use additional internal hardware to convert the signal to digital before using the info.

Yup, for any LCD display its native mode is digital at least the ones made in the last few years, can not speak to ancient first iteration hardware :)

This means less overhead so faster hardware response and according to all my videobabble magazines that I try to read and keep a grip on what is going on in the home theater world, the display accuracy and color are supposed to be superior as well.
