hi am trying to configure a new pc and was wondering when DS is going to offer the E8500 to the 830i case?

Within 1-2 weeks. It's mainly because of supply shortages from Intel.

For the price those things are going for id just say get a E8400 and overclock the thing, youd save a fair chunk of change to spend either on GPU or elsewhere.
