A point-by-point comparison with DS would be interesting...but I don't anticipate a stampede to the newest web site advertising a cheaper machine--do you? From a "purchaser's" standpoint...it's another computer company...offering a product--they say "cheaper" but, that remains to be seen doesn't it. From a "manufacturing/competitor" perspective...it pays to watch/see what the other guy's doing...no different with this one. Know your enemy (er, competition). I've looked over ebay before and sometimes the prices seem a liitle too good to be true, if you know what I mean.

Supposedly, their main web site is down for upgrade at the present. But, their ad...along with pics and plenty of parts info/breakdown looks well-done/pretty slick.
Yes, I know it's premature....BUT, under the category of wouldn't it be intriguing... if this company--who claims to have very similar objectives as DSO...proved to be worth their salt...were to hook-up (merge...aka Voodoo/HP) with DSO. Merger and acquisition isn't just for the big boys...and you don't have to wait till a company is in the fortune five-hundred to think about expansion. There's always room for like minds with new ideas/fresh insight... It's innovate or die. Edited by Zardoz8719 - 20 Jul 2009 at 1:13pm |

In the "update" category... I happened to check on this again...and guess what? It has been taken off?? No explanation...no nothing. Quite curious, cuz I seem to remember they were auctioning off several machines--and if I remember correctly...the cut-off was July 26th?? I was curious to see just how much the machines/bidding went for. Now, I'm really curious...but, can't quite remember the name of this company...but, believe they were located in North Carolina?? Any suggestions on how I might find out the company name--I just hate it when I can't remember something--like an itch you can't scratch.
